It was a beautiful day for a stroll along the river. The golden yellows of the Cottonwoods were still on full display. There is a rough path along the river bed which puts you right in the thick of it all: reeds, bushes, flowers and trees, all mixed up together. You breathe deeply, the rich, warm scent of fall, still lingering. Colder days just around the corner.
